Theme Song Thursday: Rubber Ducky

Photo by Richard Schear, April, 2011

When Dick and I were visiting Marseille, France, in April this year, all the various groups and neighborhoods were putting on a party, dressed in the costumes of their choice to represent ethnicity, beliefs, their favorite music, or whatever theme they chose.
This fellow sure looked like he was having a good, colorful time joining the crowd with his best friend, his rubber fishy.

Maybe he was listening to this song:

He does look like he's enjoying himself! One of my cats at honme in South Africa has a carry cot (bed) in the shape of a yellow fish. This made me think longlingly of dear little Chip today. (((Hugs))) Jo

Oh my! As soon as I saw your title, I could hear Ernie's voice singing that song. I used to sing it to my granddaughter.

The second I saw the title I started humming the song. The man with the yellow fishy looks like he is having a wonderful time. I love that photo.

The photo is a hoot.
But, right now, the you tube isn't loading for me. All I'm getting is an hour glass, continually twirling. I'll try and come back so I can see/hear the lyrics

Happy Friday to you.
