Ah, gray and grumpy skies! They do look familiar as they have invaded Seattle and the raindrops are beginning to fall! Terrific photos though, as always. You really capture the feeling of the fog, the water and skies! Marvelous! Hope you have a great weekend, Kay!

In spite of the gray shades, those skies are beautiful especially how they play off the water. They really have a lot of depth too. Enjoy skywatching...

Lovely Alaskan cloudy blue sky. Such an interesting array of pictures. Thanks for sharing the Alaskan pictures, I think that is as close as I'll get to Alaska.

What a wide variety of skylines, my favorites are the ones of the mountains and the ships in the fog! I would like to go on a cruise to Alaska someday, it looks like a lovely place!
My favourite shot is the fourth one, with the clouds, and the mountains fading to purple in the distance!

Wonderful shots, the fog is neat. I have been on an Alaskan cruise and loved it.
Want to go together, EG? Fog does add mood to a place. And I'm fine with it as long as it doesn't stretch into weeks and months as it sometimes can do in the PNW.
Now this is the trip I know my husband would really love to take...maybe I could manage one like this...amazing..
@ Rambling Woods -- I think maybe you could, Michelle. The scenery from the ship is wonderful, and the service on board is fabulous. Every effort is made to ensure the trip is as comfortable as possible for people with difficulties.
