Do iguanas dance
Trading kisses there
upon the sands?
Oh tell me,
do iguanas dance?
Do they, do they, do they,
do iguanas dance?
Do they, do they, do they,
do iguanas dance?
do iguanas dance?
Do iguanas dance
under the moonlight?
Squeezey hugging
all through the night?
Oh baby, do iguanas dance?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Do_You_Wanna_Dance%3F
Well, do ya wanna dance
and-a hold my hand
Tell me I'm your lover man
Oh baby do ya wanna dance
Well, do ya wanna dance
and make romance
Squeeze me all through the night
Oh baby do you wanna dance
Well, do you wanna dance
under the moonlight
Squeeze me all through the night
Oh baby do you wanna dance

do they?
nice music.
Love the photos. (The iguanas and you!) My brother had an iguana when he was a teen. We lived up north then, and took the iguana with us when we moved one winter. We thought it died from the cold in our station wagon during the trip, but when my brother laid it near the warm fireplace for an hour or so, it woke up! (Don't ask me why he laid a "dead" iguana near the fireplace.)
I have no memory of the iguana after that day...
Love your photo ! and very nice to see your face : )
Puddy love your iguanas's photo, he wish one day he will see the real one : )
Oh, that Puddy. He'd just get into a fight, and the iguana would bite his tail, and...
LOL
Thanks!

Fun shots and a fun post for the day, Kay! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!

Reminds me of an iguana story from a trip to Mexico when I was in my 20s. We were driving north from Puerto Penasco in a camper with another couple. We were stopped by several armed military men with big guns. Our friends were driving and we were in the back. They were searching the camper and one said, "Do you have any iguanas?" I thought it was a very strange question, but I had an iguana as a pet in high school so I guessed maybe there was a smuggling trade in the cute reptiles. I said no with an innocent face. When they let us go, I told my husband (at the time) I thought that was a strange question. He said no, asking us if we had any marijuana seemed logical. At least I gave them the right answer to the wrong question. - Margy
Margy, that is TOO funny. I love it.
Mom and Dad and my little brother lived in San Felipe, across the Sea of Cortez from Puerto Peñasco.
Did you ever noticed those "armed military men with big guns" are all about 18 years old? I always think they're so sweet, and I always explain to them that I don't speak much Spanish but I'm willing to try.
The veterinary clinic I used in White Rock had a pet iguana named Shawna, and she used to sit on the tops of the computer monitors and peer down at the screens. When she was put into her (huge) aquarium, she would jump and jump and jump to try to knock the lid off. As it was 24 or 30 inches above her, I thought it was pretty optimistic of her to try, and wondered what she'd do if she ever succeeded.
What a fun post! Now you have me wondering if they do.
You rock Thursday ThemeSong!!! This was excellent. The song lyrics AND the photos!!!
Here's Mine
Have a great day.
OMG I love this song and the photos, the first one especially, is just brilliant with this. Very well done :)
This was most entertaining :-)
Oh fun! I haven't heard this song in ages. We've never been on a cruise, but the Alaskan cruise is on our list for next year.
Oh good, now at least I know who to look out for: four legs, long tai... sorry Nice man and nice woman!
I didn't get to go to many dances, my man isn't a dancing man.
WoW, Kay! TWO shots of pairs of iguanas! Perfect for your song post. Kudos to both of you... and you look terrific. I can see why Richard loves you... you have sweetness written all over your lovely face.
Love the lyrics and the pics that go with! Nice post!
Well, I've gotten a lot of songs stuck in my head over the years, but this will be the first time iguanas will be dancing in there, too!
Dance they do... and what a darling post. Glad I came back by.
I love it!
How ironic that just last week I was singing this old song as I watched the moon out my window. True. :)
Thanks for your visit.
Great shots! And thank you for your kind comments - and admiration for my exotic disease collection... ;-)
