Now she is back to the giggling and shrieking of girls, the poor dear, and although she has provided a video of the song, I prefer not to listen to it, because I have a headache of my own.
The least I can do, however, is come up with fewer than 43 words in support of Mama Zen and her headache. I have used 33 words here.
the fox says run

run away from those girls
they can't be fun
even with all their curls
they’ll hurt your head
and they’ll
pound your brain
and then you’ll have
a migraine
again

I bet those giggles would be enough to send the fox running without any prodding...lol
Cackle! BUT Kay, the song is WONDERFUL. I hadnt heard it before and really enjoyed it......I plan to do some head banging to it in my car and scandalize all the drivers of the Monster Trucks in this old town - will serve them right!
Very good! That is the best answer to the question, to the over-played song, and to MZ who could not have taken the advice but will surely recognize fox wisdom in it. Good to see you, Kay, get well soon and come out and play!
This brought back memories of various sleepovers - both my own, and my children's, and the ensuing headaches on both sides. :) Made me grin, Kay!
Love your take on the prompt - with humor...smiling
nice to see you again with the brilliant lines....
I like how you brought the little girls in to play in your poem. The fox should certainly take fright and run.
I hear this song often and find myself singing along! I don't do the "animal" sounds justice, but my six year old has them down
So clever, I wish I could work with words like you. I know a Fox who can give you a headache.
Two granddaughters on a sleepover is trouble enough without a houseful of them. A bottle of wine makes a good cure when the kids have gone home.
I love that song! Much fun. Good for you.
You should have watched the video. Fun to be part of the young people's culture!!! :-)
Ha! very good!
I thought I would be safe when reading 'foreign' blogs: no fox! Alas, it was not to be. The fox is everywhere. Those Ylvis brothers have it figured out. Fortunately they are down the charts in their home country now (which obviously is Norway).
Amen, sister!
Indeed!
;)
