Oh, deer, in Our World Tuesday

Photos by Richard Schear, November, 2013

There's more than one small herd of Mule Deer in our area, and they're all looking for the last of the autumn edibles.

Our World is hosted this week by Lady Fi, who is perhaps best known as the owner of Oscar the Golden Retriever, at least our golden girl Lindy thinks so. I think Fi might agree.

"Wait for me, everyone. Something itched me!"

These are wonderful shots. It's always fortunate to be able to shoot any kind of wildlife without bars or fencing to block the way.

What wonderful shots. Deer are so much fun to watch but we rarely see them near our house.

That's one thing you only get in Canada. I remember my surprise seeing them from our friends living room. In Europe the deers are so shy.
