committed, says he,
to exploring
Bridge of Folly, by Mike Worrall presented as prompt |
the subconscious,
for unconscious reasons
he can’t understand...
intuition leads him
through labyrinths
and mazes,
through street scenes
and hazes,
through waterfalls,

and dreams of forests,
from theatre

I like that exploration to the unconscious & allowing intuition to lead you where all things are possible ~ Thanks for the linking up with Sunday's Challenge Kay ~ Wishing you happy weekend ~
Yes, he gets both edges of time and how we participate in seeing. Fine poem. Thank you--and thank you too for the wonderful words you left on mine!
I love your poem which made the opened the paintings for me, Kay. Hope you, Dick and Lindy are having a great weekend. (((Hugs))) Jo
Wonderful walks through the dreams and letting the pictures merge with your words. Very good balance...
I like the spontaneous flow.....
Your poem is wonderful! This is an artist of whom I've never heard, but his work is lovely. "The Bridge of Folly" really caught my eye. Thanks for bringing this artist to us!
You have described the artistic process very well, and taken us on a virtual journey through a gallery of Mike's work.
And you make his journey our journey, Kay. I found those pictures you chose some of the most compelling.
One can survive with intuition. I discovered an image of melancholy in your words. Tenderly written. :-)

I love "forests of dreams and dreams of forests" (of course).
I really like where you went with this, Kay. I wish that I had thought of it.
I agree with both MZ and Sherry...a very cool approach to these works, Kay!!
Ah Kay, you've described it perfectly.
intriguing how each person really does respond differently - truly paintings that tell one about a person - I had my husband respond to a few of these - we were on opposite ends of interpretation! :)
you make a lovely docent, Kay :)
I like your take on this prompt..writing about the artistic process rather than one of the specific pieces of art. Great job :-)
Beautiful description of this artist, or any artist!
