Shadows and gravel, when we travel

"Yes, Lindy, I think it's nice to be in the shade, too, but no, I don't want a wet dog lying down in dirty old gravel, then getting into the car."

Needless to say, Lindy won, as she almost always does, and we were lucky to spread a towel on the back seat before she clambered in. It was, indeed, hot last month in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley, and shade was at a premium that day.

Of course Lindy won!
Thankfully the big heat in Okanagan Valley didn't start before we left - but I thought it was already hot!

You are a clever girl, Lindy, to stay in the shade out of the hot sun! Purrs!

Oh no not the gravel! :-)

However I can't blame her for wanting to be wet and in the shade. It's about 105F here and if I didn't have AC I'd be in the pool then in the shade. :-)
