Bluest skies are in British Columbia

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I grew up in BC's Okanagan Valley, where my brother Clint and I loved to lie on the lawn, looking for animals in the clouds.

Last week, on our way home from the Okanagan and the west coast, we stopped to have lunch in Greenwood, BC, one of the small interior towns I've often admired. I love the old buildings, the softly-meandering Kettle River, and the idea of being close enough to family and friends without camping on their doorstep.

GREAT photos. Yup. We hog all the blue skies, in BC. I love those old fashioned small interior towns.......like going back 50 years..........must be cool to live there.

Ah... well... but you haven't been to Norway yet have you? When there is blue sky to be seen, it really is blue! Beautiful blue. And the clouds here are second to none: elephants jumping through hoops and the lot!
