Every now and then, Blogger loses something of mine. Monday, several times Monday, in fact, Blogger lost the list of blogs I follow. I could only retrieve them by signing out and signing back in again. Meanwhile, Blogger blandly told me I ought to be following other bloggers' blogs, and offered to show me how.
"Add blogs to follow in your Reading list
"You are not currently following any blogs. Use the "Add" button to enter blogs you'd like to follow in your Reading List."
Indeed.If you feel you said something about which I would normally have commented, please forgive me, and blame The Big B.

I use "Feedly" to follow my blog buddies, as Google Reader has passed away. And it's really good.
Don't worry about "An error occurred while trying...." That happens to me too. Sometime it's due to an internet interruption of a few seconds. Just ignore it. Never try to understand Blogger you will end up in a madhouse. But I have to admit that since 2006 it has improved ! We lost our sidebars all the time when a picture was too big !
I get that last one a lot! Especially in my new home where the internet connection seems to be a bit slower than I was used to. Very annoying!

Oh grrr, I get both those reactions from Blogger and it drives me crazy, Kay! So no, it's not your fault. We can definitely blame it on BLOGGER! Hugs Jo

OH YES!!! I find just going into the blog post page and out again brings the listing up... but gee it's frustrating. Also the error message - if it's not too rude I am glad to hear you have this trub - only because I was thinking it was due to my limited dongle/wireless connection. It can be dismally slow this end and have occasionally taken an hour to launch one post!!!
I have come to the conclusion it is either A) because it's rush hour on the server or B) they are updating at their end causing a queue.
Possibly both or neither - and totally irrelevant when all one wishes to do is blog @-O YAM xxx

Did you switch from blogger to another source - like Feedly - before July 1st, kiddo, to track the blogs you follow?
My followers have disappeared in the past too - it used to worry me, but eventually they pop back onto the page........also I get that save error all the time and it does annoy me...........it is doing it oftener recently.
Yes to all of the above. I usually just 'ignore warning' and carry on regardless until the post goes through. Our internet link is slow way out here on the African continent - I thought that was why blogger was slow to load all of its features.
Blogger has been a pain since the "upgrade." However, I've tried Wordpress and like it even less. We've been up at the cabin a lot more lately, with no Internet. I do try to catch up when we get to town and during trips south of the border. Hope you have having a great summer. - Margy
I stumbled upon this blog as I was googling how I could get back the blogs-I-was-following list. Has anyone figured out how it might be done? Blogger is being very, very nasty, to say the least.
