Reflections on the swans' pond

Reflections of a nesting swan and swimming Canada Goose on a private pond near Toronto, Ontario. I took this photo in spring, 2010, during my solo trip to the east coast of Canada on Via Rail.

The swans also share their pond with a duck family, seen here swim training.

The pond looks like a popular place for the local waterfowl. Those ducklings are so cute.

The water looks green for once nice reflection of the trees around and the swan family goes on an excursion.

Swim training is very important but I do think Mummy Duck is a bit callous: no armbands in sight for those little ducklings! Tsk tsk

I never tire of seeing ducks and swans swim on lakes. They are sooo graceful.

Hi Kay, we've just been photographing ducks on our dam so I was thrilled to see yours on swan's pond. Beautiful calm and cool images. Hope you're having a wonderful time. Blessings, Jo
