Our friend David from California came to Bellingham for the weekend so we took him to our trestle in Chuckanut Bay to see the trains go by from the boat. He and I didn't like the choppy water much, but he did like the Amtrak toot his horn and all the passengers waving. - Margy

Marvellous engineering, lucky you to take the trip. I've only ever flown over Switzerland, but it is on my partners bucket list to ride the Swiss trains so I suspect I'll be visiting on the ground some time.

You can't beat the trains of Switzerland. My hubby's homeland. Great shots bridges and tunnels. Were you there just recently in April? Lucky duck.
