Thanks for the tour of such a beautiful old city! Love your photos as always! Terrific post for the R Day, Kay! Hope your have a great day! We have some sun! I'm ecstatic!!
I don't know about you, Kay, but I still can't believe my eyes when I see the dates on some of these buildings. Like you, I come from a "young" country in terms of European civilisation and I've discovered that what I thought of as an old building back home is quite modern here. Look at that map of the city in 1523. My hometown didn't exist until 300 years later! Just mind blowing.
I'm loving hearing about your travels and seeing all of these historic town. I just love that photo of the half-timbered building. They look so Elizabethan and steeped in time.

Kay, Your travels leave me breathless. Are you on "around the world in 180 days" schedule LOL? Time you took a trip to Menorca though.

Rouen looks like a very beautiful and old city. Next time I go to France I shall try and see it. Thanks for sharing! Have a great week.

We went to Normandy a few years back and visited Rouen - the cathedral is especially beautiful
Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of those in Slave Lake.

Now Rouen is a favourite of mine and I recognise a lot of things here! Again, did you enjoy it?
I enjoyed the trip around Rouen, beautiful buildings. I've visited a couple of times but a long, long, time ago, and no camera, nice to revisit here.
