Book Blurb Friday, Lead Me...

Renowned author and photographer B.K. Povich specializes in water scenes of every sort in this wonderful, and surprisingly easy to handle, coffee-table book.
You, your family, and guests will enjoy perfect peace and tranquility while wandering through Lead Me Beside the Waters, Ms Povich’s third and most beautiful book of photos.
Beckoning lakes, quiet rivers, soft waterfalls, and even trickling fountains, form the soothing personality of this must-have accessory for the modern sitting room. It has been described as “ wordless poetry to hold in the laps of luxury” — a description with which this reviewer agrees completely.
Produced using twenty-first century techniques, it is neither ponderous nor cumbersome. The airy lightness of the pages and cover reflect the subject matter in a way no pre-millenium paper ever could. Look for it at a book store near you.

Kay, have you ever thought about turning pro with your book blurbs? I always want to buy the books you write about.

I am especially fond of the "airy lightness of the pages and cover".

This is excellent, Kay. I'd love to find some of that post-millennium paper - got plenty of the pre-millennium stuff;-)

A delightful blurb, Kay...as serene as the book it describes. I actually gasped aloud when I got to "wordless poetry"...that's exactly how I feel about photography, though I've never said it in those words!

You've outdone yourself today...a stellar post...:)

You know, it really *does* look like the perfect cover to a coffee table book! And I love the phrase "neither ponderous nor cumbersome." I believe that is my new goal in life. Well done!

All I need now is a cup of hot, herbal tea and I'll be all set! This is a terrific blurb. The words, the flow...it is all as calm and serene as the book you are selling. Great job!

You did a great job of making this book appealing, and folks would clamor to the bookstore to make it an accessory on their coffee tables!

I can't believe all the different takes on this picture! You made this jump off the page...

This cracks me up. I kind of expect the book to float with its pre-millenium paper! : )

Not ponderous and not cumbersome? I will stand in line to buy this coffee table book, since it's easy to manage.
