How nice to be greeted by feathered friends!
AH! So this is what pink-foot geese look like!
Cool reflecions. I've seen geese reflections before but I don't think I've seen chicken reflections. :)
LOVE the one chicken stepping high to get up on the curb! SO cute!
Thanks for your visit. We are still having dry weather. The problem is that we must be very careful with fire especially in heath-land or forests. Sofar there were three fires near the dunes in Noord-Holland and in the province of Drenthe.
Your photos are very nice.
Yes, aren't they great? I had heard about them before, but had never seen them until we went to Europe. The pink feet just crack me up.

I never knew there were pink footed geese.
I feel so enlightened now.
Cute pink feet! So that's why the chicken crossed the road! ;)
the chickens look like they just got off the bus :)
OMC !!! Kay, You make me HUNGRY !!!!!

@ Shirley — you're the first to comment on my "Rearly" pun, where the rear of the geese are reflected in the river.
Thanks! I'm glad someone noticed!

those two geese look like love birds!
& I love the chicken reflections too.
I never knew there were wild chickens! where do they go on Wintertime?
Beautiful golden light on the first and how intersting they are.
I heard about the Chickens on Kauai and wow there are lots. A few around on Maui and they always surpised me.
So glad you stopped..Loved your post.
Interesting occupation for chickens, tour guides. - Margy

I like geese. They have a certain bumbliness about them that is so endearing, even if seen from the rear!
Poltry power, hugh... Nice one, though. :D
I was trying to figure out why the pink-footed geese were rarely reflected. Then I finally looked at the angle and ....OK I either need new glasses or more coffee (or both ;>)
I would enjoy seeing either kind of birds.
Love the chickens crossing the road and the reflections.
I had to double check those geese as I thought they were the normal greylag geese I see here, but now I can see that they are a little different.
I love the chickens! There is something so funny about the way they strut around like they own the place and you are intruding.
What gorgeous shots! Love that first one - so very charming.
@ Sallie — It says "rearly" — okay, it's a bad pun, but they are reflected from the rear.

The chickens on the street, is very reminiscent of my hometown in the Philippines! Nice post Kay!
Fun photos, Kay. I recognized Hawaii right away. We have those chickens nearby also on this island.
Look at all these chickens milling around! How funny. I suppose they are like the seagulls and pidgeons around here. Love that first shot reflecting against the water.
