Hippos in zoos are at a disadvantage. Their love-lives are there for everyone to see. Here their kiss is reflected in the rippling water of their artificial pool. People might think they look cute and funny, but the hippopotamus is actually one of the most aggressive creatures in the world and is often regarded as one of the most dangerous animals in Africa (Wikipedia). I can't honestly say I have ever thought of hippos as cute. I never thought of them kissing before either.! Great picture, though.
