Skywatching - ooohhh - before Halloween weekend

I dare you to walk over there,
he said.
I dare you to climb the fence.

I dare you to touch that tree,
he said.
I dare you to walk under here.

I dare you to turn off your light,
he said.
I dare you to walk in the dark.

I double-dog double-dog dare you, he said.
Then the lights went out, and he fled.

Just in time for Halloween. Very Mayberry RFD. Opie and the kids would have played this game.

I m too scared, because in Borneo, people do black magic and cast hex. We don't do Halloween.

Nice series of night shots to go with the Halloween dares! My brother and our neighborhood friends really got into those around Halloween every year, it used to drive our parents nuts!!!

I'm not into halloween at all, but I like your post very much. The last line was amusing and surprising, and the photos great, especially the last one.
Thanks for the comment!

Did you write that wonderful poem? It is perfect for this Halloween weekend - sounds like so many dares I heard as a child.

@ Lily Hydrangea -- Sounds like so many I heard, too, so that's why I wrote it! In fact, it pretty much wrote itself.

Great shots of the night scene. Love the poem.

By the way, Lindy is a beautiful dog - she reminds me of Zoe, the golden retriever we used to have.
