Melodious yellows, and friends, in Barcelona

Lovebirds and canaries in the Barcelona night market

Is she going to buy a budgie or a canary?

These turtles aren't showing their faces, but their shells are an interesting mix of black and gold

Bunnies in yellow boxes are so cute!

When I taught school I always had a turtle as a pet in the room. It was pretty easy to take care of and give the kids an experience with pets. - Margy

All lovely photos, Kay, but the lovebirds are so very pretty. I've never seen tortoises with shells those colours either.

Wow this post is such a great start for our week, beautiful critters! Those birds are adorable and I'm enchanted by the turtles.By the way I'm always enchanted by turtles, because they remind my childhood as I also had "my little turtle, a good friend".
Have a lovely day there,
hugs

Sweet, Kay.

[Yes, I was coming from the Sunshine Coast when I took that photo in Horseshoe Bay. Had a few hours earlier said goodbye to my mother for the last time. Well, not really the last; I still talked to her a few times by phone, but she died two weeks later. No need to comment on that, I'm super fine about it; just a little sad at the time. A couple of kilometers from the bay I went to my very first year of school in Canada, grade 7, at Gleneagles Elementary. Small world, hey? :-) And yes, would love to go to the Galapagos someday.]

That's a fun visit with the animals. And those two yellow canaries (?) really stand out among the blue.

Nice visit to the pet shop. The love birds are such wonderful little birds and I so love your yellow this week, yellow canary, yellow spots on the turtles and the bunny cages

Lots of birds in this little cage ! In Belgium it's not allowed to sell animals on markets only in specialized shops. And that's very good so !

Yes! Yes! I remember those birds in Barcelona. There was a big main street. I don't remember the name of it, but there were all these caged birds. Fun post to bring back such lovely memories.
