Many mellow yellows on our trip to Arizona

Top --Shopping in Sedona, Arizona, we saw these two piggies (javelinas, according to the sign) and several others displayed on the street.
Next photo -- I couldn't figure out how to get this furniture into my luggage to bring home from Sedona, so I had to leave them there. Sigh.
Above -- While in Arizona, we took in a Phoenix Suns game. It was great fun to see Canada's Steve Nash, playing point guard for the Suns (right, and at the free-throw line above).
Below -- We were also able to catch a spring training baseball game (LA Angels vs Seattle Mariners) while we were in Phoenix. Baseball fans enjoyed blue skies with filmy white clouds.

Sedona was a place we liked to fly in our airplane. We had to be careful not to go on a hot day because the runway isn't that long. Up on the plateau it's almost like landing on an aircraft carrier. - Margy

It has been such a long time ago since we've seen Sedona. I remember really enjoying that place though.

@ Magical Mystery Teacher -- I don't remember the name of the shop, and if I brought home their card I don't know where it is. But I seem to think it was on the main street on the right, coming from Phoenix. I think it was on a corner but I can't be sure.
Not much help, sorry.

The Southwest is so bright and colorful and I could use some of that right about now!

We found a book for one of our grandkids (when we were in AZ, I think) called something like "I AM NOT a pig" all about a Javelina family. They sure look like they are though.,

My cousin lives in Phoenix, so I have visited there several times. Winter is the best time to go by far unless you love heat! Isn't Sedona wonderful. I want to go back and take photos of all the natural beauty there. Thanks for a glimpse into your visit there and thanks for stopping by my MYM. It's getting rather warm around here again. Yesterday it was mid 80s! Quite warm for this time of year.

You certainly found some original photos there! I love the pigs, too, and the furniture is amazing - pity it didn't fold down to nothing, huh? ;)
