Weekend reflections on the clouds

© Richard Schear photo, October, 2012
When I first moved from mountainous British Columbia to the Alberta prairie, I couldn't believe the size of sky. It's so big! And the sunsets go all the way around. Another thing I love about the prairie sky is the way it reflects light just before sunset.

I'm intrigued by sunsets going all the way around. I can understand the big skies - but how wonderful to have a huge sunset (and presumably, sunrise:-))

The prairies are a beautiful place. I haven't been out there is years though, way back when Wayne and I used to take flying vacations across Canada in the 90's. But I am content with my west coast view, and even my more restricted view up in the Hole in the Wall. - Margy

Oh, that is beautiful!

The big skies are the best! Not interupted by mountains or buildings and with enough room to actually see some stars at night!

Reflection on the sky... Great idea.

It would be such a thrill to see an all around sunset. Never had it that good for me. Must be somewhat similar to the midnight sun at the northern cold regions. Nicely Kay!
