Real Toads, for Open Link Monday

Although my health is definitely somewhat improved, I don't have a lot to offer for Open Link Monday except, once again, my contribution for this week to Madeleine Kane's Limerick-off.

When I was involved in a feud
with hubby about our dog’s food
I said cucumber
makes her eyes umber
and he said my reasoning’s skewed.

Pleased to hear you're feeeling brighter Kay. Sorry you can't get to UK just yet but maybe you should leave it now until spring, summer. I'll get you on the Knott End to Fleetwood ferry at some point - I don't think it's going anywhere soon. How is Richard's birding going by the way?

Chuckles! When my daughter brought back a cat, a Scottish Fold from the US there were initial difficulties to adjust the appropriate food to give. I can relate to your dilemma, Kay!

I love it that dogs eat vegetables too. Lindy looks adorable no matter what the color of her eyes are.

Cucumbers and dogs. Not considered natural allies...

Nice, Kay. My dogs (well, just Katrin, Adi died three weeks ago) like vegetables but sure would turn their noses up at cucumbers.

I agree with the hub. LOL
