Mist blurs the horizon in the first photo here, when Dick and Lindy took their early-morning walk a few days ago. The moon, however, was about to set in the west and, as the mist cleared, it was faintly visible, hovering in the sky.

Oh I missed the moon setting this time around. So glad to see Richard and Lindy's capture in the mist. Thanks for your continued visits to my blog, Kay. It's always great to see you and the kitties say thanks too! Have a great weekend. (((hugs))) Jo
The silvery trace is poetry.
Lovely, peaceful skies with it's ghost of a moon! Wonderful captures for the day! Hope you have a great weekend, Kay!
nice blue sky
Beautiful pictures!
I love to see the moon in the morning.
I thought you had taken a picture of the desert, lol !
It looks like a very promising day. I love seeing the moon during the day.
Pretty captures!
Beautiful, peaceful photograph. Where was it taken?
@ Frances — This was taken a short walk from our house in southeastern Alberta. This part of the prairie is an actual desert, with cacti, sagebrush, and tumbleweed, but we had a wet start to this year, so there is more greenery than usual.

That's so cool to just see that moon hanging there in the sky.
