In Calgary, there were a few showers here and there, now and then, and the temperature dropped as low as 10C (50F).
On the highway coming home, we hit some serious rain, which I didn't think to photograph, but I did get a few shots of clouds ranging from dark to white, and interesting skies with smaller and larger patches of blue. Most of these were taken from the car, on Highway 1, heading east-southeast.

Looks like our moody gray skies here in Seattle -- well, until today! Great captures for the day! Lots of sunshine and blue skies now! Have a wonderful weekend, Kay!
Terrific captures. I liked the first shot of stormy sky.
What beautiful clouds!!
Big skies - hope your visit to Calgary was good!
Grey skies well captured. Have a great weekend!

All so beautiful. Love the ferociously gray sky the best!
Those first couple of shots looked ominous, Kay. Enjoy the upcoming weekend!
They're very threatening clouds. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
I like the sun, but a few rainy days in between are a big relief. We already have a fire ban going here, but I don't think anything major has started. Hope it stays that way. - Margy
There's something about that 4th picture I really like. I think it's the lighting.
Love those brooding skies even if they do bring a downpour. We never see them in NorCal. Our skies are either boring blue or foggy white! I've seen so many skies like yours on posts from the East Coast and Mid West...crazy weather some people have been having this summer! Enjoy the weekend.
