SkyWatch Friday: sunset, Red Deer

That would be the city of Red Deer, Alberta, blog fans, not a herd of red deer looking at a sunset. Dick and Lindy and I were in Red Deer recently to see two of Dick's daughters and three of the grandsons. Lindy behaved so well at the Red Deer Lodge, and Dick was pretty good, too...he took these photos of the sunset!

I love the layers of colors between the trees (above).

One of our daughters-in-law was born in Red Deer; moved to Oregon when she was in the 8th grade and she still has great memories of it; we always love hearing her stories. Looks as beautiful as she remembers.

Cool name for a town! I love looking at the colorful evening sky through the trees in the forest. Thanks for stopping by at my SWF...I'm starting to use my iphone more and more; it's just so nice and small and easy to handle compared to the big ole Nikon!
