You captured the circle of life through the seasons very nicely, Kay! The deer with its questioning gaze in the cold grassy snow is as endearing as the bird on a post that seems to be singing. :)
Adore this post -- when I was small a zillion years ago, my mom and dad had a series of four paintings showing the four seasons of somewhere (I have no idea where, and doubt if they did) but all the same place. They hung over their mantelpiece.
Wouldn't be too interesting from where I am now ;>)
