This photo was taken on New Year's Day, when we had both snow and hoar frost on our ornamental crabapple tree.
Five days later, we have no snow anywhere, and there's none in the weather forecast until Tuesday, although it could come sooner.
To see more tree branches, or to post your own photos, please visit Gattina at her blog Keyhole Pictures. Next week's theme will be Joy.

Gorgeous shot! I love it.
Like the combination in the photo -- bits of sky peeking through the snow-laden tree branches and crab apples there to add color to the overall picture. :)
beautifully captured
Interesting Kay! It takes an artistic eye to see such beauty and capture it in print. Great pic!

lovely capture. the crab apples add a nice touch to the tree branches.
Hi :)
hai ragione, la parola da tradurre è il verbo " sorgere ".... ed essendo rivolta a me questa parola, diventa 1° persona del verbo sorgere e cioè : " io sorgo ".
Ciao e grazie del tuo bel commento :)

Your snow covered tree branches are beautiful!
We have a few ornamental crab apple trees in our yard.
Usual the blue jays shows up and eats them and becomes drunk.
Mine is up and the coffee is on.
Beautiful tangle of snowy branches! Like Nature's own personal maze!
A lovely photo. How I miss the snow. :>(
