Gorgeous snowy, shadow shots, Kay! Perfect for the day! You might want to check your sign in on the SSS site, when I clicked on your name it didn't bring up your site, but the Shadow Shot sign in page. Have a great weekend!

The temps may be brutally cold, but the sun is strong and the shadows winter artistry. Nicely captured, although I don't see Lindy - no doubt, she only wants to go out into the cold only when business needs to be attended to...

It's certainly pretty. We now have a light covering, and our parade is tonight, so it's good.

P&O, Kay. Peninsula & Oriental. Do you recall what the Peninsula referred to? I am assuming this to have been originally a British steam ship company. I have not heard of 'Carnival', but i admit to not being a ship person. I need soil beneath my feet.

Thank you for your continuing visits. You are such a faithful visitor.

Kay

Kay .. we had a skiff of snow this morning .. like a 30 second snow storm and it disappeared just as quickly .. sunny and cold but bare bones .. not good for the garden but keeps us at arms length from the true winter still .. your shots are gorgeous and make me hear Christmas carols in my head some how ? LOL

Oh, winter IS so pretty, isn't it?

I'm heartened to see that at least some Canadians are not fond of big corporations ripping is off and raping our environment! :-)

The snows will find us here in western Mass before we know it...

Ciao,
gina

Beautiful ShadowShots Kay! I just love the snow. Only thing is we don't usually get the sun with it like in your pics.

How beautiful the snow looks! I hope you're rugged up because it sure looks very cold! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

PS - there was something wrong with your link in Mr Linky. It linked to the Mr Linky site instead of your blog which was odd. It's all good now.

Lovley crisp snow and wonderful photos. Snow scenes always look so amazing - all that white fluffy stuff, everything looks so clean.

Hmmmm..that snow just keeps on coming, doesn't it? Well, I guess that's 'par' for the course considering the time of the year. Makes for happy foliage come spring!
The nice part is that the white of the snow does lend itself as the perfect shadow canvas.

Shadow lines and shapes and the lacey patterns of white snow = a magical combination! Beautiful photos!

Beautiful shots of snow, light and shadows. I especially like the blue color of the shadows contrasting with the brown leaves in the last one.

Even though we can't bear the thought of snow on the ground yet...we love the beautiful backdrop it makes! There is also nothing like freshly fallen snow on tree branches...a favorite sight for sure!
Love Lindy's picture...we have a golden too - Calamity is her name - ha! Goldens are the best!! Have a nice week ahead!
