Markets like this are so delightful to visit, even if only browsing not necessarily buying. Yup...your husband can surely bring home the great memories with his camera skills!

Wow! That's a lot of seafood! Typically Spanish!
Thanks for showing!
Thanks for visiting. Yes, St Nicholas is early, for his birthday is on the 6th December. When he goes on the 6th, Santa comes. After X-mas we'll have New Year's Eve, which is also a great happening. And then the long and boring month of January follows,

Bit hard to take with me as a souvenir though. I can't imagine what the customs people would say when they open my suitcase and find a big old lobster in there!

Fantastic post! I LOVE seafood. This reminds me of my frequent visits to family in Portugal. I stay at my mother's and one of the highlights for me is shopping for fresh fish from early that morning and local produce.

My Mom and Dad used to travel to Spain frequently, but in the area of Malaga. Mom learned how to make paella and whenever there was a special occasion, we'd be there enjoying the dish.

It's worth getting behind on reading my favs to get to scroll through a few days worth of your posts-- going from this week in bright yellow and then deep snow to today's look back to yummy seafood in sunny Spain. Yummm.

Look forward to another tour next week (I'll be away for a few days)....

I love seafood, especially crab, shrimp and lobster. We get our share of the first two here in Powell River. Our first try and prawning was a disaster. We caught two prawns. The next night we put the trap out. Don't know if we angered a commercial prawner or if we set it too deep. It was no where in sight the next morning. - Margy

Kay, these huge and fresh shrimp are great for the Spanish dish Paella.

Hahaha, I do not know how to make the authentic, but I can improvise.

But I will watch out with my cholesterol....
