Gorgeous snowy, shadow shots, Kay! Perfect for the day! You might want to check your sign in on the SSS site, when I clicked on your name it didn't bring up your site, but the Shadow Shot sign in page. Have a great weekend!
The temps may be brutally cold, but the sun is strong and the shadows winter artistry. Nicely captured, although I don't see Lindy - no doubt, she only wants to go out into the cold only when business needs to be attended to...
P&O, Kay. Peninsula & Oriental. Do you recall what the Peninsula referred to? I am assuming this to have been originally a British steam ship company. I have not heard of 'Carnival', but i admit to not being a ship person. I need soil beneath my feet.
Thank you for your continuing visits. You are such a faithful visitor.
Kay .. we had a skiff of snow this morning .. like a 30 second snow storm and it disappeared just as quickly .. sunny and cold but bare bones .. not good for the garden but keeps us at arms length from the true winter still .. your shots are gorgeous and make me hear Christmas carols in my head some how ? LOL Joy : )
Kay .. you made me laugh so much here .. I was wondering what the heck is wrong with that link of her's .. I got to you through my own that I have on my blog .. too funny girl ! Joy : ) hehehehe
hello! i just want to say thank you for checking out my blog. I see that you like photography. I am thinking of buying a digital camera soon and I will post some pictures I have taken on my blog. I hope you wouldn't mind giving me feedback on those pictures. :-) thanks again!
Hmmmm..that snow just keeps on coming, doesn't it? Well, I guess that's 'par' for the course considering the time of the year. Makes for happy foliage come spring! The nice part is that the white of the snow does lend itself as the perfect shadow canvas.
Even though we can't bear the thought of snow on the ground yet...we love the beautiful backdrop it makes! There is also nothing like freshly fallen snow on tree branches...a favorite sight for sure! Love Lindy's picture...we have a golden too - Calamity is her name - ha! Goldens are the best!! Have a nice week ahead!
Hi! Stopping by from the Shadow Shot Sunday hop. Your snow pictures are beautiful! We are still waiting for ours...had some flurries, but it was just a teaser! My five Siberian Huskies are eagerly waiting for the fluffy white stuff! Stop by and visit some time! PS - we are now followers of your blog!
snow creates it's own flowers of the stems and brush left over from summer. there is beauty in winter...i just prefer to see it from the warmth of my home. no snow here yet...

It's certainly pretty. We now have a light covering, and our parade is tonight, so it's good.
lovely shots, we just had our first snow today!

You've had such unbearably cold weather out there and snow! We just got a dusting today! I can wait though! lol
Have a wonderful weekend!
Ah, very pretty shadows! The snow is beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm glad to have to chance to hop over here and see yours, too.
Best,

Oh, winter IS so pretty, isn't it?
I'm heartened to see that at least some Canadians are not fond of big corporations ripping is off and raping our environment! :-)
The snows will find us here in western Mass before we know it...
Ciao,
gina
Beautiful ShadowShots Kay! I just love the snow. Only thing is we don't usually get the sun with it like in your pics.
AH! The snow looks great with shadows!

How beautiful the snow looks! I hope you're rugged up because it sure looks very cold! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)
PS - there was something wrong with your link in Mr Linky. It linked to the Mr Linky site instead of your blog which was odd. It's all good now.
Lovley crisp snow and wonderful photos. Snow scenes always look so amazing - all that white fluffy stuff, everything looks so clean.

Beautiful snowy shadow shots.
Have a lovely day.:)
Fabulous snow photos! They remind me of Illinois.
Shadow lines and shapes and the lacey patterns of white snow = a magical combination! Beautiful photos!
Beautiful shots of snow, light and shadows. I especially like the blue color of the shadows contrasting with the brown leaves in the last one.
