Pet Pride: some other pets have no pride

Photos by Richard Schear

This big fella was out on his own when Lindy and her daddy went for a walk one day last week.
He showed plenty of interest in Lindy, but didn't approach. Lindy didn't even look at him...just think, that ruffian, with no daddy to walk him. Lindy was amazed.
He looked healthy and well cared-for, though.

This pug, however, did everything to get Lindy's attention, but she just ignored all advances, whether cute and quiet, or loud and longing. Even after she sat down, she didn't look in the pug's direction.

And this boxer looks ready to cry because Lindy didn't even stop, and obviously didn't want to be friends.

Aw, he looks so broken hearted.
We know you are just playing hard to get Lindy. Maybe next time you will talk to this cute little fellow.

Lindy is obviously very choosy about who she makes friends with? Was it the way she was brought up by mom and dad?

Pug looks really upset but Boxer not too friendly anyway.

I love how eager the pug looks
Lindy is just so nonchalant about the attention

Lindy has The Snub down to an art form! Very cute. Guess she needs no other dogs to complete her.

When Stephanie brings her pug for a visit, my huge lumbering golden, Jasmine, and she so much want to play. Jas acts enchanted, as if Chloe is a wind up stuffie........she cant get over her. Oddly, when Lisa's Yorkie comes, Jas is SCARED of her and hides under my desk.

One of my friends in elementary school had a pug. It had such a snorting sound when it got excited with that pushed in nose. - Margy
