When a pet chooses to ignore pride

Posted for Pet Pride, hosted by Lindy's friend Bozo and his family at their Pets Forever blog in Mumbai, India.

Lindy says, "Hi, Bozo, I've heard people say pride goes before a fall, but I'm not sure what that means. I think pride is alright unless it stands in the way of me having a tummy rub. Then I'm willing to abandon all my dignity, lie on my back, and let my daddy or mommy, or auntie or uncle, rub my tummy for as long as they can."

Hey Lindy, you have a lovely and very petable tummy. Our mama was just telling Georgia that she is shameless when it comes to getting her tummy rubbed. We think it is purrfectly acceptable.

Oh too funny. If I were there, I'd be happy to do a tummy rub.

I would be tempted to say I would give up all dignity for a tummy rub, but even though I do give up the dignity, it is just to get away from said tummy rub, since I am extremely ticklish!

Glad Lindy loves it though. Better give her an extra one today, compliments of a certain Dutch lady currently residing in Norway!

Take it out on her! A tummy rub is exhilarating. Right on Kay!

Forgive my language, but we call Tegan a "slut" because she stretches full out on her back with everything in full view! LOL

@ Leslie — you would say that to a poor innocent little dog? LOL
