His world was fascinating last Tuesday

My husband stopped at Dinosaur Provincial Park last Tuesday, on his way home from a business trip.
He hiked 4 of the park's 5 trails, and took many photos of the badlands scenery.
As the sign says, this kind of terrain is unusual in most of Canada. In southeastern Alberta, not as much.

Amazing landscape, the layers of history so evident. Interesting information in the boards.

Those are some amazing scenes! I have heard of the badlands in the US (mostly old westerns) but never got to see them. Thanks for sharing your shots.

This was fascinating - and also had a bit of de ja vu, for this resembles the Burren area of County Clare, Eire - yet also very different. Great Our World Post!!! YAM xx
