Dinosaur skies for Skywatch Friday

Photos by Richard Schear, October 1, 2013
My intrepid photographer, after a long business trip, drove home via Dinosaur Provincial Park this week, and hiked four of the five trails, camera in hand. There were so many wonderful sky shots, I could only narrow them down to twelve, so we'll have six today and six another time, perhaps next week.

The white cloud patterns are so dramatic over these earth dramas of rugged rock. Stunning series of photos.

Wow these are wonderful - particularly love the second last, where the cloud mass appears to echo the 'lie of the land' as it were. Fabbo! YAM xx

I think there's a tuft from the crest of a velociraptor in third shot! :)

@ grapeling — You could be right. Many dinosaur bones and near-complete skeletons have been found in the area.
