Oh!
Some might say October color on the prairie doesn't have the glamor of October in Ontario, but it sure does look 'ohsome' against the blue Alberta sky. I had my husband take these photos of the tree across the street from us because I can see it from my computer chair.

Wow, Kay! That's a very festive colour! Rich golden leaves.
I hope your October will be nice and sunny.
Have a great week!

"Ohsome" color!!
The yellow is beautiful against the blue sky. We don't have a great show of colour in Toronto this year - very little red!
What a stunning tree! I look out my office window and watch the two maple trees across the way change according to the seasons. Almost all the leaves have fallen now, though.

The blue sky reminds me of an album cover by k.d. lang, also a prairie woman.

There are few things more beautiful that yellow leaves against a blue sky. Gorgeous shot!
Your lovely tree must be a twin to my neighbor's golden wonder that peeks into my bedroom window every morning. Wonderful October!!
Time flies. Two more month's it's be new year :)
Really nice Fall colors. Golden!
BTW thanks for sharing the story of your brother and the black and white photos. I enjoyed that very much.
Well, it took me two days to get to this post (it wouldn't come up yesterday for some reason), but it was definitely worth the wait. Beautiful shot of that yellow and blue!
Over here the autumn has turned foul: rain, wind and more rain. There are noises from upstairs and on occasion a howling in the chimney. I love living in the country!
Lovely!
Have a beautiful day!

Such a regal gold, isn't it? We have to look very closely for signs of fall down here near the tropics, so your fall color looks pretty good, to me!
Glorious fall everywhere!!

Striking colors, especially against the blue skies. I hope you're enjoying autumn - before the cold winter hits! We still have our Indian Summer to enjoy. Thanks for stopping by.
