Our World Tuesday
Fall colours were out at the first of the month, and are sure to be more beautiful by now. If you find yourself on the Trans Canada Highway heading toward Brooks, Alberta, look for signs indicating the park's location.

The landscape does look as it it another planet besides Earth. Amazing how tenacious some plants can be and the environment they can survive in. Interesting post!
Beautiful photos... what a fascinating place Kay!
What a clever idea to build those natural stairs through the stone. I would love to climb the hills in this way. Reading the signage I thought it would be fantastic if the moon were even a little like these ancient rock formations filled with life that at a glance seem hidden.

Great photos! This looks like the kind of place I love to explore. Maybe one of these days we will get up that way.
I love the Badlands and we passed through them in another October many years ago.Those elephant hide rocks are so like spreading roots of Morton Bay fig trees. I guess I'm a real desert junkie, I just love these eroded dry land landscapes.
I will go there, I will go there, I will go there! One day I will be back in Canada and visiting those Badlands again. I will, I will, I will.
In the mean time I have to make do with photos taken by your hubby. But one day...
