Frogs
Some people eat them
Some people play with them
Some people put them on a string
But if you ask your neighborhood frog
All they want to do is sing...
I met my little blue jeans frog
down by the jungle side
down by the jungle side
down by the jungle side
I met my little blue jeans frog
down by the jungle side!
Well, I asked her for a little kiss
down by the jungle side
down by the jungle side
down by the jungle side
Well, I asked her for a little kiss
down by the jungle side!
She said have patience, little man,
and I'm sure you'll understand
I hardly know your name.
I said if I can have my way, then, baby some sweet day
My tadpoles and yours will be the same!
Oh, I ain't gonna eat them frogs no more
ain't gonna eat them frogs no more
Eat them frogs no more!
ain't gonna eat them frogs no more
ain't gonna eat them frogs no more
Eat them frogs no more!

lol
YOU are fun :D
Hehehe! Hats off to your froggy song that had me singing from start to finish. Thank you. :)
This is wonderful, Kay. I sang my way through your post!
This was fun and playful, yet bringing awareness to an important issue.
You certainly enjoyed yourself with this prompt :)) Lovely variety of frogs and songs! What fun!
So clever, Kay - you had a great time with the froggies. I especially love "all they want to do is sing". We have a small pond and frog symphonies in the evenings. I so love them.
It is important we save the habitats. We uses to live where we could hear the frogs croaking at night by the streams and ponds down the hill from our house. It was also a field full of cows. I loves the soft sound the cows made paired with the frogs.
Adorable photos and words to match.

Lovely description of frogs!!
Frogs and songs...how much fun! I love coming here. I always leave with a smile!
Kay!! I love the voice you give them and the song!! This line was striking:
"All they want to do is sing."
So true!!
Thank you so much for writing! :)
Hand clapping, knee slapping, banjo picking fun!!!
Well, you don't want to eat Kermit do you? Even if they do taste like chicken apparently!
I am surrounded by frogs! I have a tree frog egg I'm watching grow. Tricky taking the photos, but I love it!
Too funny, Ms. Kay, and very effective! Give us the entire floor show--but ask the frogs in upstate New York to hop off their steam rooms--which double as roads--when they hear traffic approaching.
