every week by 2sweetnsaxy of T. Bruce Photography
who invites us to get our eyes wet, then post a watery photo. It's fun! Thanks, 2sweet!
"My" photo this week was taken by my friend Penelope Puddle, when we visited Camp Kwomais in Ocean Park, South Surrey, BC, because I didn't have my camera on my trip to the west coast.
Silly me. Thanks, Penelope!

The moral of your story, Kay, is: Always take your camera with you, 'cause you may not be with Penelope the next time!
FEELING RATHER DUCKY
Feeling rather ducky?
Here’s what I would do:
Find a pond or puddle,
One that’s right for you;
Take a sturdy life vest,
Strap it on your back;
Jump into the puddle,
Give a little quack!

What a gorgeous view!
Love this sight of the vast expanse of water body. Cool!
Been there! When I was a kid, my aunt & uncle lived in Ocean Park and we'd hike down the cliff to a private little beach there. One day, there was an undertow and my Dad took me and my uncle took my sister and got us into shore without us even knowing what they were doing. We just thought we were having fun!
Lots of water in this shot Kay -I've never been to that part of the world but have heard it is lovely!
How did you not have your camera? Shame on you. LOL! Have a great Watery Wednesday! :-)
This is a beautiful postcard!

It all looks so very beautiful!!!! And peaceful.
WAVE ACTION is my watery link. Do stop by if you have time. And, have a super Wednesday!!!
You’ve traveled far and wide, Kay, but I’m betting this is one of your favorite spots ... like it is mine. It sure was nice to see you back in BC! The eagles really did put on a good show for us when we sat on that bench overlooking the scenery. :)
Just looking out over the water makes me feel a tad cooler. :)
Beautiful spot! Good shot by Penelope (sounds like another blog for me to visit!) ....but don't forget your camera next time -- in case your friends forget theirs too ;>)
@ Sallie — My friend DID forget her camera, too, but her house was only a few blocks away, so she went back for it when we were told the eagles would be out that day.

still too cold for swimmers or wind surfers?
Oh dear, Kay...thank goodness you were close enough for Penelope to retrieve her camera! The shots were well worth getting, especially those of the eagles.
There's no question White Rock is one of your favourite places in the world, is there...?!
As you know, I live in a water world, so this to me is one of my favourite views - a great expanse of water!
