Watery Wednesday: Port of Amsterdam

Continuing with a bit of an Amsterdam theme today, I'm posting my photo of this big tugboat in the Port of Amsterdam, from our March, 2011, visit to The Netherlands and Belgium. We flew to Amsterdam to embark on a Tulips and Windmills cruise with Viking River Cruises.

Posted for Watery Wednesday, hosted by

That's a stylish tug-boat Kay but I guess Amsterdam is all about water and boats - I've a song singing in my head something about the -Port of Amsterdam-
Have a lovely day. xx

I am so jealous, Kay! That is one cruise, I've always wanted to do!
I have been at that port, though, as part of a Scandinavian capitals cruise that stopped in St. Petersburg, Russia, as well.

the color scheme is not only eye catching but very cheerful too.

These tugs sure have character, They look like they should be able to talk like in children's books.

I will need to take another canal cruise some day. It's been way too long since I did one and I never took photos then.
