Time for more pictures featuring our golden girl

Lindy found a shady spot big enough for the top half of her, but not the back.
I just love the little shadow created by her left hind leg -- a shadow of its very own.

Lindy's favorite kind of shadow -- whole-dog coverage, a good place to rest.

But this is my favorite photo -- she decided she is going to rest here and ignore the dog behind her in its own yard.
"My shade, your yard, okay," she seems to be saying. "Share and share alike!"

She's a wise dog, your Lindy :-) It must get very hot wearing a fur coat all year round, even though I'm quite sure she sheds quite a lot of it in your house and on you!

Lindy is a beautiful lady, her shadow is as delightful as her smile. Happily no snow is there yet, so lying about on the ground is a fine way to relax. The back leg shadow is great!

O so cute! Love that leg shadow in the first shot, but the last photo seems to be waiting for a doggie story to unfold! Great shots!

Awww. She's very sweet. We have a golden who'll be 15 in a couple weeks. There's no better dogs.

Looks like she's taking a break from a long walk. :)

I just found your blog via Everyday Mr Puddy and came to check it out.

Lindy's gorgeous, she looks like a real sweetheart, as Goldens are.

I love your blog title, it definitely pulls one in--seems to indicate challenges, but that you meet them and *live* regardless--which definitely is uplifting and life-affirming.

Beautiful and clever Lindy! Lindy knows that the rest stops are just as important as the walking part. The rests are an opportunity to fully take in and appreciate the beauty of her surroundings. And it appears that Lindy is simply being VERY appreciative ;)

Gorgeous photos of a gorgeous pooch!

I can relate to your comment about how upsetting it is to see the dead kangaroos by the roadside. Sadly I see them from time to time not far from where I live. The local council act fairly quickly at least in removing them. Not something that would happen out whoop whoop along the highways though I imagine...
