Sky watching can be a little tricky in Costa Rican cloud forest

Sky? What sky? I don't see any sky!

The jungles in places like the Monteverde area of Costa Rica are called "cloud forests" because a great deal of the moisture comes from low-lying clouds as seen in the photos above.
Pictured left are mosses and fungi which grow on the trees in a cloud forest.

Too funny about trying to photo misty cloudy skies, they might add interest but tricky to catch. Like your photo of the colourful moss, nsture sure does put on some shows for us.

Sweet post with the photo of the happy couple.

what a shame, such beautiful scenery obscured by the low lying devil clouds.

You may not ave found much blue sky, but still shared some very neat skies shots. I had an occasion years ago to visit here. It can be a very pretty place.

Replace the tropical trees with firs and pines, and it would look like here! I doubt it would FEEL like here, though.
