Many mellow yellows in Old Town San Diego

Photos by Richard Schear

One of the things Dick did when we went to San Diego for the first World Baseball Classic was wander through Old Town, which has become a major tourist attraction since I first visited it many years ago. Musicians, restaurants, displays of old-time gear and transportation provided photo opportunities.

Posted for Mellow Yellow Monday, hosted every week by Drowsey Monkey.

Lovely yellows there, particularly on that stagecoach.

This brings back great memories of our visit to San Diego years ago. We drank margaritas in Old Town.

I have not traveled much, but this is one place i have been too. Hubby was in San Diego when we met on line and i went there twice to visit him before we married and he move to Missouri.

Nice to have the trip down memory lane.

Thanks for the visit to my dolls house. I do appreciate those that visit and comments are the cherry on the sundae.

Lindas imagens onde o amarelo faz a diferença! Como sou fã desta alegre cor, adorei o destaque em cada foto onde o amarelo dá o seu brilho especial!
Uma segunda-feira dourada e feliz! ☺

Hello,
San Diego looks like a fun place to visit. Both my husband and I would appreciate the antiques of Old Town.
Like the Mellow Yellow photos, especially the the yellow wheels on Well Fargo carriage and the yellow in the painting on the wall high above.

That carriage is wonderful!

Charming to look at, those old stage coaches, but I'm not sure I would've wanted to ride one in the wild, wild west! I wonder if they had yellow wheels back then...

If I hadn't picked San Francisco, San Diego or the Monterey, Napa, or San Luis Obispo area would have been my where I would have lived in California. As it is, I'm there often. Many of my forensic nurse buddies are there so I visit them frequently. Old Town is such fun as are many other areas.

There's always something good here! I've never been further south than Santa Barbara where my daughter lives and I really want to! Loved this post.
