Well, I, for one, was surprised. I heard a tinkling sound on Saturday. It sounded suspiciously like an ice cream truck, but at the end of September? The sound went on for a while, so I just had to look. And there it was...an ice cream truck pulled over in front of my neighbor's house! She was outside with her children, while more parents and children were coming from two other directions.

Reminds of Kenny Rogers song... You got to know when to hold'em, know when to fold 'em.
Brings back all the goodness of childhood with sweet memories!Nicely Kay!

I'm glad to see he has customers. If always feel sorry for the one in my neighborhood because no one ever comes out to buy ice cream.
I like the look of this street. I think this is the first picture I have seen showing this much of the actual neighborhood that you live in. The ice cream truck was in my neighborhood all summer long and I cannot tell you how many times I was tempted to make a purchase because not too many kids ran out to greet him. The tinkling music brings back fond memories of childhood but since everyone has ice cream in their fridge nowadays there are not as many customers where there are houses.
aren't you lucky? our street didn't eat enough last year so it by-passed us this summer.
