Our two old cats are still with us in spirit. The china cat on the chair looks like my old Ava, while Dick's Igor, who lived to be 20, is carved in Mexican ironwood, lower right. |

Your home is beautiful, inside and out, summer or winter. I appreciate how you and your husband have a fondness for animals. They feature in your pics, and Lindy is a constant on your blog. Kindness to animals is a beautiful quality, for all they give us in return.
What fun to see where you live, Kay. It all looks so cozy and wonderful! Glad to know you're getting warmer weather your way at last.
Love all the bright, pretty colors and the fact that you have statues that represent your cats! I keep a set of mini-statues of nearly all the pets I've owned, too. You're right--their spirits never leave us.
Wonderful interiors for the home.
It's a beautiful house and so charming decoration! I love those two cute cats! :)

Oh that's funny I have the same china cat sitting on the cupboard in the living room !
nice to see your home !
What a great way to remember your cats! The inevitable is starting to come to mind for us because both of our cats are over 15yrs I hope they make it into their 20's.
The snow in your bottom photo gave me the sad reminder that from now on I'll only be able to see snow in pictures or on the distant mountains.
what a very lovely place...thanks for dropping by!
You have a fascinating blog ... I love it!
Hi Kay, it's so great to see inside your cosy home. And to know that your dear cats are still with you!I'm glad you're enjoying summer at last. Lindy probably loves it as much as she does the snow. Pat her on the curly head for me, please, dearest Kay. (((hugs))) Jo
