Pet Pride, a little girl's lesson in love

My grandniece was very young when she learned her cat, Taz, showed his love by butting her with his head. When she started crawling, one of the first things she did was crawl up to Taz and butt him with her head. He immediately understood that she loved him, just as he loved her.

These pictures were taken in 2008, and Taz is a very old cat now. He and my grandniece still love each other, and of course she knows to pet him gently, instead of butting him with her head.

What a sweet story, Kay. Children can learn to be gentle with their older pets.

These shots are "keepers." I share head butts with my cats, too!

I love these sweet pictures, Kay! Both grandniece and cat are adorable...:)

And I still head-butt my tom cat, who actually looks a lot like Taz!

Hi Kay, thats one big cat you have there. If it was a bit strip all over it might resemble a tiger. Kids and animals just get on so well don't they?

Sweet moments shared between the two.

My cats are my alarm clock. They lick and kiss me in the mornings.

What wonderful photos of a shared moment. My housecat in just the last couple of months has decided she likes head butts.
