My world hasn't always been snowy

                                                                                                                                            Photos by Kay Davies

These pictures were taken in autumn last year, before we even thought about having snow. There were still a few blooms on my honeysuckle (top) and green leaves on the trees, although a lot of leaves had fallen by then. Now autumn seems like the good old days!

Posted for My World Tuesday, hosted each week by terrific team of
Klaus, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia, Louise and Fishing Guy. Thanks, team!

Lovely captures as always, Kay! I particularly love the first one -- the blossoms/leaves on the end of the branch remind me of ballet dancers!! Oh, I know! I have an over active imagination!! Still fun!! Enjoy your week!

Spring is coming, Kay! We will certainly appreciate once it arrives, me thinks. :)

It is amazing how so many plants do bounce back after the beating they take during long winter months. I think there is a honeysuckle comeback just around the corner in your world. :)

Spring will be here before we know it.
(won't it?)

Really Kay your poists make your world beautiful no matter which season -- or place -- you post about. But I don't blame you for remembering brighter seasons. I'm sure spring is coming!

Spring really is coming soon, but hard to believe when you look out the window and see white! Our day and night of rain ended with a little snow/sleet mixture (4 inches in the higher elevations). But this afternoon I found some crocus ready to bloom.

Wonderful shots, Kay! I love the sheen on the leaves, and the contrast between light and dark.
I'm betting little buds are busily planning to put in their appearance soon...spring is definitely on its way...:)

I hear you! Autumn seems like a lovely time with all this snow... But it's slowly disappearing and spring will be here soon...

Won't it?

Several weeks ago I cut back my honeysuckle, and it is already coming back full power!!! The few frosty nights didn't do any harm to it except "painting" beautiful patterns on its leaves.

Beautiful photos Kay, one of the best times of the year is the Fall season. But I want to skip winter and look forward to Spring.

The rain we had is helpful with the wildflower blooms.

P.S. I am slowing down on my blogging cause I am going back to healthy eating and training for our hiking trip to Sedona next month.

Thanks for stopping by.

Fortunately ! I wouldn't like to live at the North pole or wherever it snows too much !

Great capture of the beautiful honeysuckle, which is a favorite in my garden. I can now see small, small signs of spring here...

Am I mistaken, or is winter getting longer and longer as I get older and older?

But you will have the last laugh when we are sweltering and mosquito-beseiged this summer!

Now that I'm in a much colder climate, I'm finding myself wishing for spring's arrival too! So I'm humming the tune, "spring is in the air..." :-D

Beautiful. The leaves in the top photo almost look like lily pads (on water).
