My world included three Tuesdays in Hawaii this month

Dick, wearing the lei our wonderful new friends Kay and Art gave him, our first day in Hawaii.
Then they took us to scenic vantage points high above the city of Honolulu.
This spot is so beautiful, we actually saw a wedding taking place the morning we were there.

This darling wee dove visited us every morning for a week as we
breakfasted on the balcony of our little condo in Kapaa,
on the beautiful "garden island" of Kauai.

A drive up to the north end of Kauai provided beautiful photos of the northeast and north coasts.

A spectacular hour with Island Helicopters gave us great shots, like this beach on the northwest coast.

Dick enjoyed snorkeling on Captain Andy's catamaran cruise.

Posted for the weekly meme, My World Tuesday, hosted by a great group of people.

That air shot is spectacular to say the least, Kay. What an awesome experience it must have been to see that turquoise water … reminds of the island of Lost Boys and Peter Pan. And Dick snorkeling looks like total fun, too! Wishing you, Dick and Lindy a Happy New Year!

You certainly had a wonderful holiday! It's great to have a flight in a helicopter, isn't it?! Especially if the visibility is 100%.Thank for sharing your world! Have a great 2011!

@ Gattina. We need snow boots and Alaska clothing here in Alberta. We will be in Belgium in the spring, and I'm sure it will be lovely.

That is a beautiful beautiful world! Gorgeous pictures. Thank you so much for sharing. I am kind of catching up -- I missed the post you did on Christmas Eve -- which I am ashamed to say made me laugh -- Hope you are feeling better (from your current cold) by now!

@Sallie -- It's okay if you laughed. I like to make people laugh.

Well, if you're going to escape the cold and snow in Alberta, you certainly chose a wonderful way to do it!!! I love Kauai - all of Hawaii, really. Each island has its own special beauty. Aloha!!

That is a Kukui nut lei we gave Dick. It's also called a candlenut. Yours was a coconut, I believe.

We discovered later that the haze we saw at Tantalus and the Pali Lookout that day was vog from the Big Island.
