On the waterfront in Barcelona.

A sailing ship, as well as sailboats, moored at the Barcelona waterfront.
Blue skies above statues and a peaceful pond in a park in Madrid.

Wow...great photos of Barcelona and stunning blue sky.We had here at this week more grey sky as blue sky.Have a nice weekend!
Looks like the perfect day for exploring beautiful Barcelona. I enjoyed the tour with your wonderful photographs.
Wonderful photos! Thanks for the tour of Spain this afternoon!
I love that about Skywatch, seeing the world!
Thank you for the wonderful comments. I think part of the reason the sky was so blue was the fact that we were in Spain in December. It wasn't cold, just a little brisk, and the air was so clear we could see forever. We loved Barcelona, and I think I could happily live there although everyone seems to speak Catalan and none seem to appreciate my Baja Mexican Spanish. ;~)
Barcelona Nice photos! looks like a great place to spend some time!
Thanks for the impressive tour of Spain.
The skies are superb, but so is the scenery. Thanks for taking us along on your trip.
Lovely photos. Love your dog pic too.
Happy Friday.
My Skywatch is here.
The sky is really blue. Great photos. I like the shape of the bridge.

I have a great respect for intrepid travellers! I've seen a lot of the world, but now it's the long waits at the airport etc that put me off!

I know what you mean about long waits at airports. Makes me crazy. I have even gone so far as to schedule a flight that arrives in the evening at the hub airport to change planes the next morning, then we just took our carry-on, went to a hotel, slept nicely, when back for our "connecting" flight after breakfast. SO civilized, I think, although not always easy to arrange. LOL
Kay: Way to use that beautiful blue in the skies.
Hi Kay, we must be in the same age range, I love the song!
Thanks, Ebie. It seemed like a natural to me. Playing with song titles has been a game in my family for as long as I can remember, from name that tune, to funniest song title, and everything in between.
You sure do get around! I've never been to Europe but my travels to Canada did get me a new home country. I guess that is pretty good. My husband drags me around of trips and adventures. Without him I would never have tried flying, kayaking, boating, quadding, lots of stuff. Guess it is good to get a push once in a while. - Margy
LOL, thanks, Margy. Just different kinds of adventures, I guess. There you are in Powell River, with all that beautiful ocean. I really miss the ocean, but I don't miss the damp weather.
