Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavik is the largest church, and the sixth tallest architectural structure in the country of Iceland. We visited Iceland for my husband's birthday at the end of March and for part of April.

What an amazing centerpiece this church is for the city. It reminds me of a mega multi-layered cake topped with huge amounts of vanilla icing!
A nice birthday present! I've heard it's a beautiful city.
What a beautiful church! Would love to see this up close.
What an unusual architecture...great photo!!

I think it is safe to say it's not an old building! But it looks nice though and well-captured.
How unusual!
It sounds like a great place to visit! Did you see any Northern Lights? I wanted to go there to see them this year, but didn't get to. Maybe next year. And happy belated birthday to your husband.
Oh my! How beautiful! I fell in love with Iceland after seeing a rather strange movie called "The Final Member." How fortunate you are to have been able to visit!
Interesting steeple and interesting angle that you have shot it from!
