I might have said something to Lindy as I took it across the floor, to put it upright between the kitchen island and the bench, but I don't remember what I said. It must have been "This is for you" however, because not long afterward I saw her sleeping between the box and the kitchen island.
"Oh, Mom," says Lindy, "this picture makes my tail end look too big."

Lindy says, "Hi, Bozo, I'm glad you're back from your holiday." And she also says, "Hi, Misty, I know you're very busy but it's so nice to see a picture of one of your dogs."

Linda is obviously a very intelligent dog. Nothing escapes her. Millie’s a bit like that. I swear they not only have our measure, they also understand everything we think, even if we don’t speak.
Tell her her butt looks just a mite overfed, I hope I’m not offending her sensibilities. Millie is never cross when I call her fattie. All she says is : enough with the insults, I’ll have a biscuit to compensate, if you don’t mind, mum.
You may have to put the box between your recliners. This is just like what our kids used to do. After they opened their gifts, they would have even more fun with the boxes they came in.
Lindy is such a sweet and smart dog. I sure she will love her gift! Merry Christmas!
Oh, Lindy, your 'glowing' round behind made our human smile! Purrs!
Wow Lindy, we also love boxes and I, Ambrose (the official Hedges Kitties' blogger for Pets Forever every Sunday) climb into every box mum leaves open on the floor. Sometimes Unca Shadow will come and look but Dad Ginger just watches from far. You look gorgeous as always. Purrs the Tanzanian Trio
Cute shot of Lindy, even if it is the tail end! She must be excited about her present. Have a happy day!
Amore, sei bellissima !!!!

Lindy, with all those golden curls, a lot can be forgiven at the back end!! You're just dropping hints about getting that ottoman out and into use aren't you?? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
How cute!
They DO know! My old sheltie mix Molly used to go to the bags from the grocery store and pick out only the toy that was for her, right out of the bag. How did she know???
I love it that Lindy got such a great gift. In the rear end department, her twin sister by another mother, Jasmine, meets her - umm - profile exactly.
Oh, how sweet! They really do know which are their gifts, even when there shouldn't be anything to give it away, don't they?
Very interesting. I think she's very smart :)

Pets know. They also know what they like, and I'm sure Lindy will like an ottoman right between the two of you. - Maryg
