Hey, Bucky, wait up. I've gotta ask you, is that your family over there? |
Wow, yes it is, Maggie. That's my brother's mate and her twins. I see the little one lower down, on the right. They're such nice fawns. |
Well, I think that human over there with the camera has his eye on them! |
I think you're right, Maggie, but here comes my brother! He's big and strong! |
I don't see the twins any more, Bucky, so they must have moved up there ahead of their mom. |
And Big Brother is watching them, to make sure they got away safely. |

Gracious! This is what Dick sees on his walks with Lindy? That is too fabulous. Hope you're having a fabulous Sunday, Kay.
Yes, this is what he sees. Either Lindy can't see the deer any more or she has lost interest, because she will just lie down and let him use his camera.
Dick and I were particularly pleased with his photos of the magpie flying up alongside the young buck and then sitting beside him, so I just had to make a story out of it.

such beautiful deers. A nice meeting :)
Those really are amazing shots! I bet lucky Lindy gets walked a lot if that is what the scenery looks like.
How beautiful! I'd be walking all the time! Is that sagebrush? I LOVE sage!!!!!
Wow! What fabulous pictures!
@ Antonette: High praise indeed coming from someone with your talent, but yes, what these lack in technical ability they make up for in luck. We are very fortunate to live in a small town between a small city and the open prairie, so we have plenty of wildlife.
