Reflections abound in sunny summer
Once again, I'm featuring photos my husband took during our visit to the BC interior town of Nelson, which has been beautifully restored to its former glory.
Posted for Weekend Reflections
hosted by James of California. Thanks, James!
The last time I was in Nelson was on a flying summer vacation in our airplane. We landed to wait out a storm. After going into town we came back to sit under the wings of our plane as the rain poured down. That was a long time ago, before the cabin started keeping us home to enjoy our summers up the lake. - Margy
Kay, the window reflections in the top image are stunning. And I love the surreal image created by the way Richard caught the reflections in the second photo. I hope you're all doing well. Greetings from Jo (South Africa)
Nice reflections Kay! You & your hubby make a good team. I also enjoyed your perfect poetic description of the miniature rooms you shared in your previous post.

OOOH loove that building up top! The clouds show up so well in those sparkling windows.
(Apropos another matter - two more Fridays = two full weeks! I depart Oct 11th and am planning some "cover me" posts till I get connected in OZ)
Hugs, YAM xx
Love the window reflections where the inside and outside are merged into one image!
Great reflections, Kay! Amazing where you can find them once you start looking, isn't it! Have a lovely weekend!
That is such a lovely composition in the display... I like those tiny Japanese dolls...

I would love to see Nelson. My daughter says it is wonderful and the energy is great there. I love the items in that window. My kind of shop!
@ Sherry — your daughter is right. Nelson is YOU, or you with a lake instead of an ocean.
Luv, K

There are so many reflections in the second photo that it is hard to tell what is real from what is reflected. Amazing!
Dick did a great job for you, Kay. Have a great weekend.
It looks like a very nice town.
That sure is a beautiful old building and the reflections are a bonus.
Beautiful reflection of peace. Nicely Kay!

Great set of images. I like that first shot.
The merging of the two images makes for a surreal picture.
